Where can I get certified in Web Design or Web Master in Los Angeles City?

  1. Hi, I am very interested in getting a certification in web design. I know there are sites for classes online but I would really like to attend a class with a teacher and classmates. Online classes are good but being in a classroom can resolve problems and questions I can ask anytime. Los Angeles is a big city but when it comes to education there are places that either lack certification or good training.

Any good source of information (sites, places, schools) would be great.

I dont know how you feel about online classes, but I have online classes for Web Design from Baker College in Michigan. Its a great program and I already have my associates degree. They dont charge that much and its a Technology based college. Check out the web site.

  4. I just moved to the U.S 9 months ago and I am looking for a good university in website designing and developing in B.A or B.S( I want degree), I heard about full sail but I live in LA so I should take the classes online, I couldnt find specific university in LA that teach this major, but they told me about some majors that related to it, so please help me which university or institute is good for this major and what major is related to web design and developing so I can learn instead of it , or should I take it online in full sail? is it a good university?
    thanks.

Ive heard of Full Sail and Ive also heard of CSUDH – both of which offer web design and development in Los Angeles and are known for it.

However, I have worked with 2 very successful web design firms in Los Angeles and I can tell you that none of them showed me an actual degree related to web – the best way to learn is by actually doing.

You need to read some books and then start making websites because the most important thing to be successful in the web design industry is to have a great looking portfolio full of websites.

    Hope this helps!

Whether you do your program online or on campus I can assure you that Full Sail University is different type of school in that we are very student-focused and we feel the best way to prepare our students for their chosen industries is to give them a hands-on, project based, real world experience while in school.
